The 45.29m motor yacht RR was delivered to her owners in 2021 by Italian shipyard Mangusta. The yacht's exteriors have been penned by Alberto Mancini, while Mangusta has designed her interiors.

Design & Construction

Designed around a fast displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.59m beam and a 2.2m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 444 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in mid 2018 with the keel laid under the project name 'Amalfi'. This was the second yacht built on the GranSport 45 design. Launched in January 2021 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in August 2021.

Exterior Design

The exterior of the yacht RR has a light grey hull and darker grey superstructure, adhering to the style of the Mangusta Gran Sport Line. This color scheme gives the vessel a distinct and contemporary appearance.

The yacht's construction features a fast displacement twin screw design with a central waterjet booster, optimizing both speed and efficiency. The exterior lines are sleek and modern, enhancing its performance capabilities. With a maximum speed of approximately 26 knots and a cruising speed of around 20 knots at half load, the RR is designed for swift and comfortable travel.

Attention has been given to noise, vibration, and insulation measures, ensuring a quieter experience on board. This includes flexible installations for engines and gears, specific structural considerations, and the use of absorbing compounds.

Extras fitted on the RR include a Multiplex Awning System on the foredeck and upper deck, providing additional shade and comfort. 

Interior Design

The interior design of the RR yacht combines functionality with elegance. The galley is equipped with Miele appliances, featuring stainless steel surfaces that offer a professional and clean look. This choice of materials ensures ease of maintenance and high performance, meeting the demands of onboard culinary activities.

In the helm area, the emphasis is on advanced technology and ergonomic design. The layout is intuitive, providing the captain with easy access to all necessary controls and displays. The inclusion of a waterjet joystick control with dynamic positioning highlights a focus on precision and ease of navigation.

The main deck saloon features sliding side doors on both port and starboard sides, allowing for an open-air experience when desired.  The yacht is also equipped with a video on demand system, providing entertainment options that are easily accessible throughout the vessel. A cigar humidor in the main deck saloon adds a touch of personalization for guests who enjoy such amenities.  

Accommodation

The luxury yacht RR accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites, including an owner suite, two VIP double cabins, one triple cabin, and one twin cabin fitted with bunk beds.  

For the crew, the yacht provides efficient accommodation, including a captain's cabin and three twin cabins, accommodating a total of seven crew members.  

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by 3 x diesel MTU (16V 2000 M96L) 16-cylinder 2,600hp engines running at 2450rpm, motor yacht RR is capable of reaching a top speed of 26 knots, and comfortably cruises at 20 knots. With her 54,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,200 nautical miles at an economic speed of 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
