Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 23'7" beam and a 5'3" draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 149 GT (Gross Tonnes).
She was delivered to her owners in January 2014.
Exterior Design
With an overall length of 112 feet, Seahawk's exterior design smartly forgoes side decks towards the stern, extending the cabin to the yacht's full beam. This intelligent utilization of space is immediately noticeable as it significantly expands the interior volume, providing an interior that feels exceptionally spacious for a vessel of its class.
Upon boarding Seahawk from the bathing platform, one steps directly into the well-appointed cockpit. Here, the absence of side decks at the aft is apparent, allowing the living areas within to span the yacht's entire width, offering an indoor experience that feels expansive and unconfined.
Moving towards the bow, the side decks commence midship. These walkways are practical, leading to the foredeck where one finds thoughtful seating arrangements: keyhole seating configuration for social gatherings (with a compass deck motif) and additional sunbathing space, all surrounded by high bulwarks that enhance the sense of security when moving about. The foredeck also boasts a dedicated space for tender storage, keeping the aesthetics of the yacht's profile uninterrupted.
The flybridge area is crowned with a substantial hardtop, providing shelter and shade. This upper deck can be enclosed with a flexible isinglass system, allowing the area to transform from an open-air experience to a protected, semi-indoor environment adaptable to various weather conditions. The upper helm station offers panoramic views and is complemented by a convivial bar area, underscoring Seahawk's emphasis on social spaces.
Interior Design
Seahawk yacht presents an interior that emphasizes comfort and sociability, with a design that is both classic and cozy. The main salon features dark mahogany wood in a satin finish, paired with light carpets and upholstery, creating a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. Without side decks at the forward end of the yacht, the salon benefits from the full beam of the vessel, offering exceptional interior space.
Attention to detail is evident in the woodwork throughout Seahawk, including areas such as the sideboard with designated storage for glasses and other dining essentials. The wood's quality and craftsmanship extend to the door frames and other fixtures, underscoring the yacht's commitment to both aesthetic and functional design.
The dining area is situated within the main salon, offering a space conducive to social gatherings. The table and surrounding area are furnished to accommodate guests comfortably, with the fine woodwork continuing to feature prominently, enhancing the dining experience.
Moving to the helm, the design prioritizes operational functionality without sacrificing style. The steering wheel stands out as a focal point, surrounded by modern touchscreen panels that provide access to the yacht's navigation and control systems. The helm's layout ensures a clear view and easy access to all necessary instruments, facilitating a smooth sailing experience.
The galley embodies the American approach to onboard living. It is conceived as a large, open-plan 'country kitchen,' serving as a central social space where guests can gather. The galley is fully equipped with appliances such as a dishwasher, twin sinks, and refrigeration units, allowing for extended stays at sea. The inclusion of a pantry area and additional laundry facilities highlights the yacht's design consideration for practicality and guest convenience.
Accommodation
Seahawk can comfortably accommodate eight guests within four well-appointed cabins. The yacht features an owner's suite and three additional guest cabins, all designed to provide a cozy and inviting atmosphere conducive to relaxation and privacy.
The owner's suite, located on the lower deck, is accessible through double doors, which contribute to the expansive and airy feel of the space. The suite boasts a large and luxurious en suite bathroom equipped with a central shower accessible from two sides, ensuring convenience and a touch of elegance. The suite also includes a substantial walk-in wardrobe, providing ample space for personal belongings, making extended stays on board effortless and comfortable.
Adjacent to the owner's suite are two more guest cabins, each crafted to ensure guests enjoy ample room and comfort. One of these features twin beds, while the other offers a double bed, and both include their own en suite facilities with showers, adding to the convenience and privacy for those on board.
A notable feature of the Seahawk's accommodation is a separate double cabin located forward, which serves as a private annex, perfect for guests who desire a bit more seclusion from the main areas. This cabin also includes an en suite bathroom and a generous walk-in wardrobe, further enhancing the sense of privacy and comfort.
The crew quarters for up to five are carefully designed, reflecting the yacht's focus on functionality and comfort for all who are aboard, whether guests or those working to provide the exceptional experience expected on a luxury yacht such as the Seahawk.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 M91) 2,000hp engines, motor yacht Seahawk is capable of reaching a top speed of 25 knots, and comfortably cruises at 22 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
