Sycara V is an award winning 68.15m motor yacht delivered by German shipyard Nobiskrug in 2010. The yacht's refined interiors have been crafted by Craig Beale, while her exteriors have been penned by Pure Design.

Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium / grp superstructure she features a 12.52m beam and a 3.76m draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 1,585 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2006. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.
Exterior Design
Sycara V's hull is painted in a midnight blue color, creating a striking contrast with the white superstructure. The raked bow design enhances the yacht's hydrodynamic efficiency. The deck is crafted from teak, adding a touch of traditional nautical design. The boot top and below the waterline areas are colored white and red, respectively, contributing to the yacht's distinctive visual profile.
The sun deck is divided into distinct entertainment areas. At the aft, there is a concealed barbecue, a bar, a high-and-low coffee table, and a dining table that seats 12. Forward of the gym, there are sun lounges, two observation seats overlooking the bow, and a custom spa pool large enough for eight people.
Notable features include the stern stairways that lead down to a beach club equipped with a bar and a large TV. The forward and aft sections of the deck can be partially shaded by sail-like canvases. The bridge deck houses the owners' accommodations and the bridge itself, which includes a spacious captain's cabin and an office. The wheelhouse is furnished with a large sofa for guests, while the Portuguese bridge has an elevated seating area with settees and built-in sun pads, which can be covered with removable awnings.
The beach club, accessed through the garage or bathing platform, includes a lounge area with a Murano-topped bar and a large plasma television. The garage stores a 9.5-meter Novurania Chase tender and a 7.5-meter Novurania Launch, with personal watercraft and a rescue tender housed on the bow.
Interior Design
The main deck has been designed for versatile dining and entertainment. The aft exterior section includes wraparound seating with two coffee tables that can be converted into a single dining table. The dining room offers several configurations and can be expanded by opening glass pocket doors to the aft area, allowing for up to 28 dinner guests. The dining room is further divided forward by a Murano glass-topped bar and pocket doors, separating the open-air dining areas from the air-conditioned main salon.
The main salon includes a library/media room, offering an L-shaped settee, a games table, and state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment. This space is designed to enhance the lifestyle options on this deck, providing a comfortable area for relaxation.
The midships area houses a climate-controlled gymnasium equipped with in-deck treadmills, state-of-the-art exercise equipment, a fold-down flatscreen television, a dayhead with a steam shower, and a massage treatment room.
Accommodation
Sycara V offers accommodation for up to 12 guests across six well-appointed cabins. The master suite, located on the bridge deck, features a California king bed and a lounging area. The suite provides superb views through floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook a private deck. The private deck can be accessed through clear, frameless windscreen doors or via curved stainless steel staircases from the main deck. For added versatility, the deck includes a high-low table suitable for private or group dining.
The accommodation deck houses five guest cabins. Four of these are doubles with king-size beds, and two also include additional single beds and Pullman berths. The fifth cabin is a single with a Pullman. Each cabin is uniquely decorated with its own color scheme and features an en suite shower.
She is also capable of carrying up to 19 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience. The crew quarters include leather sofas, a large television in the common room, televisions in each cabin, and a walk-in cabinet for storing personal items.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3516 HD) 2,200hp engines, motor yacht Sycara V is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 189,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 7,000 nautical miles at 10 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. In addition, Sycara V features a beach club where those on board can enjoy unwinding close to the water. The yacht can house plenty of nautical toys and accessories, with a well-appointed tender garage for storing her impressive locker. An elevator makes the yacht fully-accessible, while air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Sycara V also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
