Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10.5m beam and a 3.25m draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 1,027 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in late 1989. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of the Virginian yacht is characterized by a raked bow and a black hull, creating a sleek and commanding presence on the water. The superstructure is painted white, contrasting sharply with the hull and enhancing the yacht's visual appeal. The boot top is also white, adding a clean and defined line above the waterline.

The deck is made of teak, a choice that combines durability with a classic nautical appearance. The antifoul color is red, providing effective underwater protection while maintaining a traditional look. This straightforward design approach results in a yacht that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

The sundeck features an eight-seater whirlpool and a helipad for added convenience. Aft on the sundeck, the area can be converted for different uses, including a bar service setup or individual recliners. For parties, the space can be canvassed off without central supports. The transom includes a hydraulically emerging bathing platform, and there is equipment for filling diving tanks, catering to those interested in aquatic activities.

Accommodation

Virginian is designed to accommodate a total of 12 guests in six cabins. Virginian boasts two owner's suites located forward on the main deck. These suites are designed with meticulous attention to detail, offering a luxurious retreat for the owner's family. In addition to the owner's suites, there are four guest suites situated aft on the lower deck. Each suite is equipped with modern amenities and is designed to provide a comfortable stay for guests.

She is also capable of carrying up to 18 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Motor yacht Virginian is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 136,275 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 7,000 nautical miles at 11 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
