US-based Norwegian designer Kurt Strand has unveiled his latest concept, 133m (436ft) explorer yacht MIAMI, which features a three-story nightclub, a supercar display area and a tender selection that includes two Mercedes G 6X6 off road trucks.
Also featuring a sky bar with 360-degree ocean views and two helipads, the six-tier yacht is designed, according to the studio, as an “open outdoor experience”.
Two helipads can be found on the yacht, one raised above the aft deck and the other situated on the foredeck, with both accessible via elevators. Tender selection includes two 17.6m (58ft) high-speed vessels, as well as the two Mercedes trucks.
The interior is dominated by the three-story nightclub with glass floors, whilst her main deck features a display area for ten supercars. Accommodation is offered for 20 guests across 10 staterooms that include a 300 square-meter (3,229 sq. ft) Owner’s suite, which benefits from its own saloon and bar and a 20-foot wide cinema screen television.
Other features include an outdoor Jacuzzi and sun lounge area, a gym, spa, office, library and wine cellar, as well as accommodation for a crew of 44.
The concept can accommodate alternative propulsion systems, including three electric pods, powered by hydrogen fuel cell generators and will feature a diesel power backup generator and have a top speed of 20 knots.
Kurt Strand Design has unveiled a number of design in recent years including 160m (525ft) sailing superyacht concept FLORIDA, which features three 80m retractable sails also covered in solar panels, 135m (443ft) superyacht concept CALIFORNIA with three pools and a surf riding machine and 122m explorer concept Aurora Borealis with a retractable helicopter pod.
