Superyacht SYNTHESIS is the sixth hull in the Amels 242 series, part of its popular Limited Editions range, and has been delivered to her Owner following the completion of her sea trials.
She is a combination of the work of two esteemed British design houses, with Tim Heywood penning her elegant and streamlined exteriors and Winch Design working on her interior styling.
Her Owner is a repeat Amels client and has made some customizations to the yacht to meet their personal requirements.
Motor yacht SYNTHESIS features a dedicated Owners Deck with a foredeck jacuzzi and a seamless blend of interior and exterior areas, with a number of dining and entertaining layouts across multiple decks. There is a large aft deck swimming pool and a lower deck wellness spa with direct access to the sea thanks to fold-out sea terraces.
Offering accommodation for 12 guests in six cabins, the Amels 242 has a maximum speed of 16.5 knots and a range of 5,000nm at 12.5 knots.

The first Amels 242 launched was 74m (242ft) superyacht Plvs Vltra, who took her place as one of the largest Dutch-built superyachts ever upon her delivery in 2016. Superyacht SYNTHESIS shares a similar all-white exterior to superyacht Plvs Vltra, but stands out with a subtle light-grey boot stripe at the waterline.
The delivery of superyacht SYNTHESIS signals what the Dutch shipyard hope will be a strong year. A further Amels 242 is set for delivery in autumn 2021, along with three hulls of its 60m (196ft) Amels 200 series, two of its Amels 188 series and a full custom built 78m superyacht that will take its place as the largest Amels by volume upon her delivery.
The Amels 242 series has picked up a number of awards over the years and offers expansive spaces, luxury touches and the ability to cruise thousands of miles.
