In the Azimut|Benetti Group's 50th anniversary year, further celebration has been added as Spectre and the Grande 25 Metri have won prestigious awards from the esteemed Robb Report. The US edition of the authoritative magazine have announced the winners online already, with further coverage scheduled to appear in the published June edition.
Boasting the iconic Made In Italy finish, both the award winning vessels have once again proven that they are influential assets to the Italian fleet.
The annual presentation of the Best Of The Best Awards is a highly anticipated event of the yachting industry calendar as each winner can proudly display the award plus the commendation from such a reputable publication.
Spectre
Winner of the Best of the Best: Motor Yachts from 200 to 300 feet category, Spectre continues to showcase the true talents and possibilities that the team at Benetti are capable of. Standing at 69 metres the vessel is a head turner at every port and now has three international awards confirming the premium high quality build.
One of the key features which highlights Spectre as a winner is the high performance High Speed Cruising Hull. Designed by Mulder Design from the Netherlands, the hull helps to significantly reduce the weight of the vessel but provide an exceptional level of performance for the size of the yacht.
The exteriors, which were designed by Giorgio M. Cassetta, are sporty but chic modern and offer multiple significant areas for guests onboard to relax and absorb the prestige environment. Interiors also reflect the high quality image of Spectre with stunning art deco styling. Inspired by late 19th century French Liberty style, the sculpted glazing, steel details and bold but satisfying collection of colours and furnishings create an atmosphere which relishes in the modern world but also invites guests to indulge in a reimagined by gone era.
Grande 25 Metri
Triumphant in winning the celebrated award for Best Of The Best in the under 100 feet category, the Grande 25 Metri now has two international awards tethered to her name. In addition to winning at the Christofle Awards in early 2019, the Grande 25 Metri won the hearts of the judges for the Best Of The Best awards with her captivating interiors lit by an abundance of natural light. The collaborative efforts between long term Azimut partners Achille Salvagni and Stefano Righini have created a vessel which is not only sleek but effortlessly stylish.
Designed to integrate interior and exterior spaces, this iconic vessel in the Grande range allows onboard guests to make the most of the stunning environment around them, with large expanses of glazing, spacious exterior living areas plus staggering undisturbed viewpoints.
As well as the eye catching exteriors, the judging panel from Robb Report were also impressed by the open plan lounge and dining area in the main salon which doesn't follow the traits of separated areas in many other yachts. The combination of the two interior elements has not only provided an innovative solution for saving space but also created a much more informal layout for owners to entertain their guests.
