Italian shipyard Azimut has unveiled its latest flagship in the Grande range, the Grande 44M. This stunning 43.8m (143.7ft) yacht was showcased for the first time at Palm Beach International Boat Show 2024.
The yard has already secured five orders from existing Azimut owners, with the first unit of the four-deck Grande 44M 499GT series expected to be delivered ahead of the September 2026 boat show season.
Azimut collaborator Alberto Mancini crafts the exterior design of the GRP superyacht, while M2 Atelier has been trusted with the interiors. Marco Bonelli, a partner at M2 Atelier, has described the design as "refined," with pure themes that capture the essence of flowing water.
Additional features of the Grande 44M include a completely private 50-square-meter owner's deck, featuring a forward-facing, glass-encased space versatile enough to serve as a dining area, media room, and many other things, maximizing the yacht's 8.6m (28ft) beam. Furthermore, floor-to-ceiling windows define the main deck, with a pool to be installed adjacent to the dining area.
Powered by twin MAN engines, the Grande 44M is anticipated to be equipped with twin MAN engines, and capable of reaching a speed of 17 knots. Currently, construction is underway in Viareggio, Italy, with the molds of the 499GT vessel beginning to take shape.
