Previously known under multiple names including Mayan Queen, Kisses and MQ2, the 50m (164ft) Feadship went into the sheds as Legacy V, and came out as superyacht EMERALD.
Inspired by the new Orion green hull, the name change to superyacht EMERALD signifies a brand new yacht that has come out of the refit shed at the Balk Shipyard, following 16 months of extensive work.
Originally built in 1990, superyacht EMERALD has had an extension to her LOA measuring just short of three metres, creating an extended aft deck with steps leading down to the swim platform.
In addition to the increased size of the aft deck, exteriors have further been enhanced with the addition of a large jacuzzi on the sun deck, now completing the setup with comfortable seating and a wet bar.
Exterior decking has also had extensive refurbishment, being upgraded throughout with new premium quality teak.
Interiors are also said to have undergone significant changes, being completely stripped down to the superstructure and transformed into a monochrome aesthetic penned by design studio Design Unlimited.
The cabin layout has been altered by request of the new owners, with the VIP cabin being repositioned to the main deck rather than the lower deck, providing more room for crew.
Motor yacht EMERALD can accommodate up to 14 guests altogether in six cabins which consist of an indulgent owner's cabin, two doubles and two twin rooms, as well as the VIP.
Intelligence tells us she is heading for the charter market, however, if you are looking to create your own refit journey, take a look at our database of yacht refitters.
