FIRST LOOK: New images reveal details of Damen Yachting’s SeaXplorer 105

New images have revealed the highlights of Damen Yachting’s 105m (345ft) expedition yacht the SeaXplorer 105, an evolution of three previous models in the SeaXplorer line.

Damen Yachting has released new renderings revealing the extent of luxury available on the flagship model of its SeaXplorer range, the 105m (345ft) SeaXplorer 105.

The yard has used client feedback to take the best of SeaXplorer 90, SeaXplorer 95 and SeaXplorer 100 designs to create the eight-deck SeaXplorer 105. Damen has worked with Azure Yacht Design and EYOS Expeditions on the model which has a gross tonnage of 6,500.

Highlights shown in the exclusive images include a fully-certified twin helideck with a weathertight double hangar and hydraulic lift system below deck. The helideck space also doubles up as an outdoor socialising space for up to 200 guests, with room for an outdoor cinema, full-size doubles tennis court or basketball half court.

Matching the helideck for size at 300 square-meters (3,229 sq. ft) is a main deck wellness spa, whilst an indoor 8m (26ft) swimming pool is another space for winding down.

In common with other SeaXplorer models the SeaXplorer 105 features a unique Observation Lounge but on an even bigger with 123 square-meters (1,324 sq. ft) dedicated to taking in spectacular views.

The SeaXplorer 105 can also carry four 8m to 12m (26ft to 39ft) tenders stored in the forward garage and tender bays and offers accommodation for 24 guests, which includes two huge Owner’s suites. It is built under PYC rules and features a polar class hull and tanks for an 8,000nm range.

There is also plenty of room for potential owners to put their own stamp on the model as Enrique Tintore, SeaXplorer Design Manager at Damen Yachting explains: “The SeaXplorer 105 is a fully developed design. However, the scope for client customisation is massive – that’s a key part of our proposition throughout the design process.”

Damen Yachting’s SeaXplorer range is a series of purpose-built, long-range explorer yachts designed to be fully autonomous for long periods. The first yacht from the range, 62m (203ft) ANAWA was handed to her Owners last summer, with the second 77m (253ft) ‘La Datcha’ delivered a few months later in November 2020. Two further models from the range are set to be delivered over the next 24 months, a 76.9m (252ft) SeaXplorer 75 and a 58m (190ft) SeaXplorer 58.
