First Riva 82' Diva launched ahead of Cannes debut

Italian shipyard Riva has launched the first Riva 82' Diva, bringing a new boat size to its fleet and a flybridge that offers the maximum utilization of space.

Focusing on keeping guests in close contact with the sea, the newest Riva flybridge promises an indulgent voyage with a timeless but modern environment.

Launched at the shipyard's facility in La Spezia, the 82 Diva shares the signature aquamarine blue hull that makes Riva models instantly recognizable, and stunning design collaborations from Officina Italiana Design.

The dimensions onboard the yacht are more than generous for this size range and every detail has been carefully considered in order to fully immerse guests into a sumptuous and never-ending connection to the surroundings.

Exteriors present a great first impression with a 40sqm flybridge, which is one of the largest for this size of yacht. A carbon fibre hard top with glass panels provides owners and their guests with privacy and shelter while they enjoy the views with a lounge area and wet bar, plus a sunbathing area situated forward.

The stern beach club environment continues the generous offering of exterior space with fold-down bulwarks providing an additional 3m and adjacent storage for a tender and a seabob.

The Riva 82' Diva joins the sumptuous range of flybridges, bringing to market not only a new boat size but also a revolutionary approach to the use of space.

The interiors of the Riva 82 Diva match the exteriors in terms of space and indulgence, with the large stretches of glazing allowing for an abundance of natural light and versatility that suits every kind of owner. The flexibility of the arrangements covers much of the interior layout such as the galley, for example, can either be closed off from the interior dining area or opened up to create a seamless space for entertaining.

Overnight accommodation can host up to eight guests in a four-cabin composition on the lower deck. A full-beam master is located aft with three guest cabins forward, each with their own ensuite facilities.

With new innovative solutions including safer raised gunwales with painted composite instead of traditional stainless steel handrails, there's plenty to see on the Riva 82 Diva when she makes her global debut at the forthcoming Cannes Yachting Festival, running from 12-17 September 2023.
