As she embarks from the Heesen shipyard on her maiden voyage to the Mediterranean motor yacht GALVAS is sure to turn heads with her elegant steel and aluminium structure adorned with subtle metallic silver lines on her transom, wing station and mast.
Adhering to the current industry trend, motor yacht GALVAS observes the latest emissions regulations using an SCR catalytic system. Her two MTU 84 400 M63 diesel engines have enabled her to exceed her top speed of 15.5k from sea trials.
The voluminous Gross Tonnage size of 770GT, motor yacht GALVAS has been optimised throughout the interior. Within the owner's brief, designer Reymond Langton was tasked with fitting in an extensive master suite complete with a private gym, steam room and office.
Therefore, m/y GALVAS is fitted with an 85 square metre owners suite in addition to 5 other staterooms for a total of 12 guests onboard.
The innovative design does not stop there, Langton understood the importance of the sky lounge for the owners and to optimise the space as created a glass room with a concealed 100-inch television.
By using DTK’s glass, gypsum, resin and bronze artwork Langton's interior adds splashes of colour to the neutral geometric furnishings.
H2 Yacht Design has also cleverly utilised spaces. The foredeck has tender storage hidden within its sleek lines and the beach club satisfies its social and practical functions.
The beach club is lined with back blue-lit panels hiding the technical room and toy store. These blue lights add to an elegant transition into the blue sea against the bamboo laden beach club.
