M/Y LUMINANCE undertakes sea trials in North Sea

The impressive 145m (475.9ft) M/Y LUMINANCE has been seen out on her sea trials adjacent to the Heligoland archipelago in the North Sea.

Currently ranking as the 11th largest superyacht in the world, the striking build from Lurssen is currently scheduled for a late 2023 delivery.

Launched in February, LUMINANCE is one of the biggest builds ever to be constructed by the German shipyard and is now three years into her construction process.

Already attracting a lot of attention from the yachting industry, the yacht's interiors have been designed by Zuretti, along with exterior styling by well-known collaborator Espen Øino.

As the 30th collaboration with designer Espen Øino, the celebratory superyacht looks nothing short of spectacular with a striking dark blue hull and spacious decks, well-suited for both relaxation and social occasions.

Other collaborative projects between Lurssen and Øino have included 135.5m (444.5ft) CRESCENT in 2018 and 156m (511.8ft) DILBAR in 2016.

Many details are yet to be revealed about interiors and onboard amenities, however, exterior views reveal that guests will have the use of not one, but two helipads, plus a spacious beach club environment, with a generous pool on the main deck.
