Delivered in 2024, Luminance is a 145m motor yacht built by German shipyard Lurssen. The yacht's exteriors have been penned by Espen Oeino, while Zuretti has designed her interiors.

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 18m beam and a 5.85m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 9,861 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a heli-pad.

Construction started in early 2020. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in February 2023 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in January 2024.

Exterior Design

The exterior of Luminance is the work of renowned naval architect Espen Øino, who has crafted a sleek and contemporary profile for this imposing vessel. The yacht's lines are clean and crisp, combining a classic raked bow with a modern aesthetic that is both striking and sophisticated. The color scheme features a stark contrast between dark blue and silver, giving the yacht a distinct and assertive appearance.

Luminance's overhangs have been cleverly designed to create the illusion of reverse sheer amidships, an optical effect that is particularly noticeable when the yacht is viewed from the side. This design choice adds to the yacht's dynamic character and visual impact.

Practicality merges with style in the inclusion of twin helicopter pads, situated on the foredeck and aft. These pads signify the yacht's capability for extensive exploration and adventure, providing easy access for guests regardless of the yacht's location.

The yacht's aft section houses a generous beach club and an infinity pool, offering guests an immersive experience at sea level. Additionally, a private pool is located on the foredeck, suggesting the presence of a dedicated owner's deck above. A connecting swim platform further enhances the yacht's connection to the water, while a tender garage ensures that a variety of vessels and water toys can be accommodated with ease.

Powered by twin diesel MAN (16V28/33D) 16-cylinder 9,789hp engines running at 1000rpm, motor yacht Luminance is capable of reaching a top speed of 20 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.

The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. For the ultimate relaxation experience, the yacht plays host to a luxury spa. Ensuring everyone on board can enjoy the water to the fullest, luxury yacht Luminance offers a large beach club connected to a swim platform, with plenty of space for lounging and soaking up the sea views. The yacht can house plenty of nautical toys and accessories, with a well-appointed tender garage for storing her impressive locker. An elevator makes the yacht fully-accessible, while air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort and underwater lights will turn plenty of heads when the sun goes down. The sundeck is the social hub of the yacht, with a deck jacuzzi for cooling off and an inviting spread of sunpads.
