Vrispack has created a 56m hybrid superyacht concept for Nobiskrug
There are many features which distinguish the new 56m vessel including hybrid propulsion. Working more environmentally friendly than traditional propulsion systems, the propulsion system is incorporated into the design instead of the traditional engine layout. For the new 56m yacht the engines will be placed flat and wide.
However, despite the impressive propulsion system, the stand out element for the new superyacht will be its intricate glasswork.
The design is not constrained by any traditional yachting design rules.
Similarly to the recently launched Nobiskrug ARCADIA, this 56m concept utilises glass in new and unique ways. In addition to most of the superstructure being made from steel or aluminium, the most striking structural aspect is the overhanging bowl with glass fragments between decks, giving guests almost panoramic views.
Designing collaborator Vripark has reformed the interior layout to create a free-flowing path through the yacht. Minimised staircases make movement easier and more comfortable for guests onboard, with a long corridor allowing easy access to the amenities.
Facilities onboard are proposed to include an open plan gym, a pool and a jacuzzi. However, the details will be confirmed at a later date by the shipyard.
For guests wanting to venture further, the initial designs also include a tender with folding bulwarks.
'this environmentally-friendly, hybrid yacht with its modern design leaves no client wanting'
Accommodation onboard is designed to accommodate up to 10 guests for overnight stays. A master cabin plus four VIP cabins are planned, leading the way to the exquisite main salon.
Each of the cabins will benefit from the spacious 9.2m beam and will all continue the same indulgent concept shared by the rest of the proposed vessel.
Reaching a potential speed of 14knots, the 56m superyact is the perfect cruising vessel. However, it has not yet been revealed when or where production will begin.
