SANTOSHA: Heesen Yachts First 57m Series Superyacht Unveiled

The first in a new 57m series, motor yacht SANTOSHA combines luxury, sustainability, and high performance.

Heesen Yachts has launched the first yacht in its new 57m (187ft) series. First revealed for sale at the 2019 Monaco Yacht Show, the superyacht is characterized by its sleek silhouette and elongated profile.

Built under the project name AKIRA, the new owners selected the Sanskrit name SANTOSHA and the lotus symbol to serve as a reminder to "remain happy under any circumstances."

The superyacht, designed by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects, boasts an impressive interior volume of 780 gross tonnage. Originally built on speculation, the design was tailored to the owners' tastes and lifestyles with the help of interior designer Harrison Eidsgaard.

SANTOSHA

Superyacht SANTOSHA's interior was crafted with sustainable materials like recycled wood and art silk carpets. The yacht features a nearly 70 square meter owner's apartment, a Garden of Eden-inspired master bathroom, and guest quarters designed for practicality and comfort.

Boosting high-performance capabilities with a full aluminum hull and two MTU engines, SANTOSHA has a top speed of 22 knots with a transatlantic range of 3,900nm at 13 knots.

SANTOSHA

Santosha is a yacht designed for those who appreciate the finer things in life, combining elegance with practicality and meticulous attention to detail with a relaxed ambience."
