Heesen unveils new imagery of 55m Project Venus

Heesen Yachts and Luca Dini Design & Architecture have unveiled stunning interior renderings of their latest project, Project Venus, a 55m (180.4ft) Steel Fast Displacement yacht

Boasting sleek exterior lines by Omega Architects and with construction underway at the Heesen shipyard in Oss, the superyacht is scheduled to be delivered in 2025.

Revealed at the Forté In showroom, at the Tuscan seaside resort of Forte dei Marmi, the interior styling, created by Luca Dini's studio, made an impactful first impression showcasing a suave and welcoming atmosphere for all onboard.

Omega Architects have restyled the muscular exterior profile of the Heesen 55-meter Steel series, adding a contemporary touch to Project Venus. Noteworthy changes include the introduction of a "shark tooth" motif, located halfway along the side of the bridge deck, adding a powerful personality to the yacht. The streamlined design of the superstructure is accentuated by the absence of the usual fashion plates, creating an unobstructed view.

The exterior and interior social spaces on Project Venus are seamlessly connected, enhancing the overall onboard experience and liveability factor.

The sundeck sports an on-deck Jacuzzi and a lounge area, while the beach club offers a relaxing zone for the owner and their guests, with a bar area and easy access to the water. Tenders are stored on the foredeck, meaning the aft space around the beach club remains obstruction free for guests to use.

In the main salon and dining area, the 9.6m (31.4ft) beam allows for a spacious layout. The colour palette revolves around aquamarine and ivory soft furnishings, which are complemented by warm wood veneers, natural leathers, and expansive full-height windows that offer exceptional light and sweeping panoramic views. The upper deck sky lounge features punchy blue fabrics, adding a vibrant touch to the space.

The captivating interiors feature a wide array of unique and sought-after materials, many of which were presented by Silvia Margutti, the project leader. Contrasting veneers including almond-toned oak, darker oak, teak, eucalyptus, and rosewood have been used extensively, along with beautiful marbles such as Invisible Grey, Jolie Grey, and Ombra di Caravaggio.

Bathrooms onboard the Heesen superyacht are a unique key feature that combine the eras with taps by Gessi, inspired by the Charleston era of the 1920s, and shower controls that provide an analog feel reminiscent of audio equipment from the 1970s and 80s.

The large windows not only offer breathtaking views but also serve to highlight the rich palette of interior materials, textures, and colors.

Accommodating up to 12 guests, Project Venus has a six-cabin layout including four guest cabins on the lower deck and a VIP suite up on the bridge deck. The master cabin is situated on the main deck forward and spans an impressive 82sqm with its own fixed balcony on the starboard side.

With YachtBuyer Intelligence showing a total of four 55m Steel yachts currently in construction, there's clear indication that the Heesen Steel range continues to be an asset to the Dutch shipyard and it shows no sign of slowing down yet.
