Damen Yachting has successfully handed over the fifth vessel in its Amels 60 series, named SOLAIA after a famous hill and wine-producing region in Tuscany, Italy.
Sold in October 2021, the early sale of the 60m superyacht allowed for several owner-specific customizations, such as a custom charcoal and white superstructure and extended sun and bridge decks, designed by Espen Øino.
The superyacht SOLAIA can host 12 guests and 13 crew members, with an owner's suite with a spacious balcony, a full-beam ensuite, and a walk-in closet. The interior, crafted by Ukrainian studio OLT Design, uses a terracotta palette and graphite shades to reflect the Tuscan scenery.
Finishes onboard include eucalyptus, Macassar ebony, Tanganyika veneers, onyx, Calacatta marble, Cipollino marble, and Nero Marquina marble.
A highlight of SOLAIA is the bridge deck saloon, complete with a piano, bar, and cinema setup. The 162-square-meter sundeck features a Jacuzzi, shaded dining area, bar, outdoor kitchen, and grill. Furthermore, the beach club includes a swim platform, sauna, and steam shower, with storage for a 9m (30ft) tender.
Solaia will always be one of our most cherished projects. Working on the custom interiors of this yacht for over three years has been an incredible experience for all of us."
