Providing an ideal opportunity to get up close to many British and International brands, the Southampton International Boat Show is a staple event for anyone looking to buy a yacht.
Now embarking on its 53rd edition, the well-established English event annually welcomes around 600 exhibitors and the marina boasts berths to hold up to 300 yachts at a time.
As a show based in the UK visitors can expect to see a large collection of British brands on the stands including Princess, Sunseeker, Pearl Yachts and Fairline. International brands grow their presence at the show every year, with many major names now being regular contributors.
Focusing on the sub-30m market, there are many different types of production yachts available to view and tour including sports yachts, tenders, cruisers and flybridge models. Sea trials are not available at the Southampton event, however representatives and brokers can make arrangements for future appointments at the relevant locations.
Expanding the show in 2021 there's a lot more space around the show, keeping the 'new normal' very much in the forefront of show proceedings. Wide walkways and multiple hygiene practices make for a seamless flow around the exhibitors, allowing all visitors to make the most of the ten day event.
Side attractions are just as much a part of the show and there are many making their welcome return including the popular Try A Boat. Visitors at the show can head out onto the water on a selection of sailing boats and tenders for a unique view of the show around them.
For those who want to play, the watersports pool showcases all the latest water toys for adrenaline-fuelled activities while on voyages. The Discovery Deck also boasts widespread appeal, displaying the latest and upcoming innovative solutions for the yachting industry.
The 2022 Southampton International Boat Show is scheduled to run from 16-25 September. To find out more about the models on display at the show take a look through our complete listing of all yachts for sale.
