On Deck

The back of the yacht features a hi-lo table that can be adjusted to form a sun pad or a seating area. This design is much appreciated as it allows passengers to enjoy a view of the sea while anchored in a bay. He also points out the hi-lo platform which is useful for launching a tender.

Nick then moves on to the cockpit area, highlighting the particularly clever design of the movable seat that can be removed for easier navigation around the boat and onto the side deck. He also points out the wet bar with storage and a cockpit fridge, and the sunbathing or lounging area under the large opening roof.

At the helm, there is a Garmin screen that displays all necessary information, such as engine instrumentation and navigation. He mentions the joystick controls and engine controls, all located at the helm.

At the bow of the yacht, there are sun pads, with walkway decks that go around them, and high rails for easy accessibility.

Interior

The interior of the yacht is notable due to its unconventional layout. The master cabin, which is underneath the sun lounging area in the cockpit, has its own ensuite with a separate shower stall, an uncommon but impressive for a boat of this size.

Performance

The Bavaria SR-41 offers a choice between Volvo Penta or Mercruiser petrol engines, or Volvo Penta twin engines, including the D4 300 or D6 380. With the D6 380 engines, this suggests that the boat can reach speeds of around 30 to 35 knots.

In Summary

Nick is impressed by the layout and features of the Bavaria SR-41. He finds the design clever and innovative, particularly for a 41-foot sports cruiser.
