The yacht's exterior features are highlighted, including the bow thruster, which assists with docking, and the large windows that allow for ample natural light. Particularly impressive is the boat's cost-effective design, which includes a single engine, trim tabs for controlling tilt and stability.  The bathing platform has a jet ski tow eye, boarding ladder for swimming, storage and a shore power cable for charging batteries.

The decks are easy to access with a sliding roof over the helm and seating, noting the solid and well-constructed structure. The one-piece windscreen, large front windows, and night running navigation lights were other noteworthy features.

The yacht's back area, with its sunbathing space and storage area, caught Nick's attention. He found the adjustable seating area versatile and the wet bar under the seating area a nice touch.

The lower decks houses the galley, dinette and double cabin, with a well-sized toilet and shower compartment. The galley has a single burner, sink, fridge, and storage spaces.  The dinette has a wonderful skylight and could be converted into an extra berth.

The yacht is powered by a Volvo Penta D4-260 engine, providing a cruising speed in the mid-20s and a top speed over 30 knots. The sound-deadening materials make for a quiet and smooth running engine and the engine room is spacious and easy to access for maintenance.

In conclusion, Nick found the Galeon 305 HTS to be a very appealing yacht, especially for first-time boaters due to its many features and suitability for entry-level boaters.
