On Deck

The Princess V60 features a lifting bathing platform and tender garage, which allows for storage of a jet ski and a tender. Above this area, there is a spacious sun pad with a retractable shade, offering a comfortable lounging area with a grand view when anchored.

The cockpit area has practical features such as a folding table, fridge, barbecue, and a bin hidden under the bar. Nick appreciates the spray finish on the bar, describing it as classy. Also situated in this area are repeat engine and thruster controls for easy berthing.

The layout of the foredeck offers privacy and a fantastic experience when cruising or berthed.

Interior

The yacht features a galley aft layout, and inside, there is a walnut satin finish and an overall high-quality feel on board. In the galley there is a fridge, freezer, electric cooking facilities, sink, and multiple soft-close drawers.

Opposite the galley, there's a dining area with a folding table that allows the saloon area to remain separate. The saloon features deep seats and a bar area equipped with an ice maker, fridge, glass storage, and a TV with a surround sound system. The helm position is up ahead with an opening roof above, which is particularly appreciated for its smooth and quiet operation.

Below deck, the VIP guest cabin, day heads, and a third cabin are all showcased. There are ample storage spaces, high-quality finishes, and clever design features in each room.

The master cabin is particularly impressive due to its full beam width, flat floor, ample headroom, and classy finishes. A washing machine is also conveniently located in the ensuite of the master cabin.

Crew Accommodation

A small crew cabin is also demonstrated, though Nick clarifies that it's intended for occasional use rather than for full-time crew.

Performance

The engine room houses two 1200 horsepower MAN V8 engines that push the boat up to speeds around 40 knots, promising a cruising speed of 30 knots. The room is clean and well-laid-out, with fire extinguishing system, switchable fuel filters, raw water strainers, fuel tanks, and a generator. The boat has a straight shaft drive system, which is effective, and very fast.

In Summary

Throughout the tour, Nick consistently praises the quality and practical design of the Princess V60, appreciating its speed, elegance, and the impressive engineering displayed in every detail. He seems particularly fond of the walnut satin finish inside, the spacious and well-lit cabins, the ample storage spaces, and the smooth and quiet operation of the opening roof.
