Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.68m beam and a 2.18m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 262 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2018. This was the twelfth yacht built on the Navetta 33 design. She was delivered to her owners in April 2020.
Exterior Design
Starting at the stern, the yacht features a versatile passerelle with solid stainless steel guardrails, offering a secure entry point for guests. This leads to an innovative garage door system that can either lift conventionally for tender launch or swing down to transform into an expansive beach club, enhancing the connection with the sea.
Moving inside, the main deck salon is characterized by its Italian styling, with dark wood finishes juxtaposed against pale upholstery, creating a sophisticated atmosphere. The salon also boasts a concealed TV that slides out for entertainment and a side door that opens to a drop-down balcony, providing additional space and sea views.
The foredeck of Acqua is equipped with a range of features designed for outdoor enjoyment and socializing. It includes a spacious seating area complemented by a sun pad, offering an ideal spot for relaxation or gathering. The yacht's anchor handling area is neatly integrated into the bow, maintaining the clean aesthetic while ensuring functionality.
On the upper levels, Acqua's sundeck is a highlight, offering uninterrupted space for sunbathing and relaxation, with a jacuzzi positioned to provide panoramic views. The upper deck lounge, which can be enclosed, allows for both navigation and entertainment activities to take place without interference.
Interior Design
The main salon is a study in understated elegance, with dark wood paneling contrasting with pale upholstery to create an inviting and sophisticated ambiance. The salon's clever design features include a concealable television that emerges for viewing, offering both form and function without disrupting the aesthetic flow.
Adjacent to the salon is the dining area, defined by its generous floor space and uncluttered layout. Storage is abundant, with cabinetry designed to house crockery and glassware, integrating practicality into the design. An iPad is conveniently located for controlling the entertainment systems, emphasizing the yacht's commitment to modernity and ease of use.
Lighting throughout the yacht is carefully considered, enhancing the ambiance with both inset and overhead options. This attention to lighting detail extends to areas such as the dining space, where it contributes to the atmosphere during meals.
The pilot house presents a professional environment equipped with state-of-the-art navigation and control systems. The layout is intuitive, with screens configurable to the captain's preferences and all critical systems within easy reach. Accessibility for maintenance is a design priority, as evidenced by the ability to easily access behind-panel areas.
The galley is a fully functional and efficient space, fitted with necessary appliances such as wine coolers, cooktops, dishwashers, refrigeration, and freezers. It provides direct crew access via a side door, allowing for seamless service and movement without disturbing guests.
Accommodation
Acqua accommodates up to 11 guests in five well-appointed suites. The master suite, a sanctuary situated on the main deck, affords the owner a generous personal retreat. This full-beam stateroom is replete with ample storage, including a walk-in wardrobe, and is flooded with natural light from large windows that offer panoramic views. The suite's en-suite bathroom features a spacious shower and dual toilet facilities, providing convenience and a touch of sophistication.
Below decks, guest accommodations include two double cabins, each with their own unique charm and a similar level of finesse. Both rooms boast sizeable windows, storage solutions, a small dressing area, and an en-suite bathroom with illuminated showers. The attention to detail in the finishings and fixtures speaks to the quality inherent in every aspect of Acqua's design.
An additional twin cabin affords flexibility, with two single beds that can be converted to a double if needed, catering to a variety of guest configurations. This cabin also includes a Pullman berth, offering an extra sleeping option. Like the doubles, it is equipped with large windows, ample storage, and an en-suite bathroom.
The yacht's crew accommodations are designed to house up to six members. The crew quarters are strategically positioned to provide staff with excellent accessibility while maintaining guest privacy. Three crew cabins are configured with bunks, and there are two bathrooms shared among them. Additional crew amenities include a comfortable mess area, laundry facilities, and a dedicated monitoring system for the yacht's operations.
Performance & Capabilities
Acqua is powered by twin MAN V12 engines, each producing a considerable 1,400 horsepower. This robust propulsion system enables Acqua to reach a top speed of around 15 knots, with a comfortable cruising speed of approximately 10 knots. At this cruising speed, Acqua boasts a range of 1,500 nautical miles, allowing for extensive voyages with fewer refueling requirements.
The yacht is equipped with modern fuel management systems, including a fuel polishing system that uses a centrifuge to remove impurities from the fuel, ensuring that the engines receive only the cleanest fuel for optimal performance and longevity. Additionally, the yacht features dual generators that provide reliable electrical power to all onboard systems, ensuring continuous operation even when the main engines are not running.
To enhance stability and comfort, Acqua is fitted with electric stabilizers. These are crucial in reducing the roll motion of the yacht, making for a smoother sail even in choppier waters, contributing to the well-being and comfort of guests on board.
Acqua also boasts a welldesigned emergency system, including an emergency steering setup, allowing for manual helm control if necessary. Furthermore, the yacht is equipped with a comprehensive fire suppression system, ensuring safety remains paramount at all times.
