The 196'10" motor yacht Formosa was delivered to her owners in 2015 by Italian shipyard Benetti. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Benetti, while Sinot Yacht Design is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 34'9" beam and a 11'1" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 1,089 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a heli-pad.
Launched in December 2014 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in May 2015.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of Formosa is characterized by its distinct clipper bow, which provides a classic and elegant profile. The deck is crafted from high-quality teak, known for its durability and aesthetic appeal. Both the hull and superstructure are painted in a pristine white, offering a clean and timeless look. The boot top and the area below the waterline are finished in black, creating a striking contrast with the white hull and adding a touch of sophistication to the overall design.
The sun deck includes a full wet bar, a spa pool, and large sun pads. The shaded aft deck is equipped for al fresco dining and entertaining, with seating and cocktail tables arranged for convenience.
Interior Design
The interior design of Formosa was crafted by Sinot Exclusive Design, emphasizing both functionality and comfort. The main deck saloon features a spacious lounge area, providing ample room for relaxation and socializing. Adjacent to the lounge is the formal dining area, designed for sophisticated dining experiences.
The upper deck sky lounge serves as an ideal space for unwinding. Its layout encourages quiet moments and leisure activities, such as watching favorite movies. The materials selected for these areas focus on durability and aesthetic appeal, ensuring a welcoming and practical environment.
Throughout the yacht, high-quality materials have been used to enhance the overall interior experience. These include fine woods, premium fabrics, and meticulously crafted finishes. The design choices reflect a commitment to creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for guests.
Accommodation
Formosa offers accommodation for up to thirteen guests across six well-appointed cabins. The master suite, alongside two VIP suites, is located on the main deck. Below deck, there are two double cabins and one twin cabin. Each cabin features en suite bathroom facilities for added privacy and convenience. An elevator connects all guest cabins, ensuring easy access throughout the vessel.
She is also capable of carrying up to 15 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V4000 M53) 12-cylinder 1,851hp engines running at 1800rpm, motor yacht Formosa is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 38,305 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,000 nautical miles at an economic speed of 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. In addition, a swim platform is on hand for guests looking to cool off in the sea. The yacht can house plenty of nautical toys and accessories, with a well-appointed tender garage for storing her impressive locker. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort and an elevator makes the yacht fully-accessible.
