  • Semi-enclosed flybridge, adaptable to weather

Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.25m beam and a 1.82m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 79 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the first yacht built on the E81 Open Bridge design.

Exterior Design

The exterior of Journey is painted in a striking white, complemented by a black boot top and a matching black finish below the waterline. The bow is raked, a design choice that not only contributes to the yacht's aesthetic appeal but also enhances its hydrodynamic efficiency, cutting through the water with ease.

The spacious aft cockpit offers ample seating, accommodating gatherings with ease. The area is sheltered by an overhang extending from the superstructure, providing protection from the elements. This configuration not only enhances the outdoor living experience but also integrates seamlessly with the yacht’s interior spaces through sliding glass doors, ensuring a fluid transition between indoor and outdoor environments.

The flybridge, partially enclosed, represents a versatile outdoor space on Journey. It is designed with a hardtop and glass windshields for weather protection, while offering options for open-air enjoyment through retractable sections. This area includes a bar, dining space, and sun lounging areas, providing a comprehensive entertainment and relaxation environment with panoramic views.

Journey's foredeck features sun pads and a cabana for relaxation and entertainment. This area is easily accessible and offers an additional, private outdoor space for guests, away from the main social areas. The yacht's side boarding gates facilitate easy access to and from the dock, enhancing the practicality of boarding operations. This feature is particularly useful in varying docking conditions.

At the stern, Journey is equipped with a hydraulic platform, suitable for carrying a tender or for use as a swim platform, further extending the yacht's connection with the water. This area is complemented by a garage and crew quarters below, integrating service and storage functionalities without compromising aesthetic appeal or guest comfort.

Yacht JOURNEY showcases a sleek white design with a planing GRP hull for superior speed, complemented by a spacious flybridge and raked bow for hydrodynamic efficiency.

Interior Design

Light wood paneling plays a significant role in enhancing the spaciousness of the interior, complemented by strategically placed lighting. The main saloon is characterized by an uninterrupted flow from the cockpit to the forward dining and seating areas. It is equipped with a retractable TV, a large ice maker, and a bar area, providing a versatile space for entertainment and relaxation. There is a day head near the entrance.

The galley is positioned with an open-plan layout and features domestic-sized appliances, including a four-burner hob, microwave, and dishwasher. Notable is the substantial refrigeration capacity, with drawer fridges and a full-sized wine cooler, ensuring ample storage for provisions. The galley's country kitchen ambiance is further accentuated by a slide-out pantry and generous countertop space.

Accommodation

Journey offers accommodation for up to eight guests in four suites including an owner's cabin and a VIP cabin.

The owner's suite boasts a large, comfortable bed with meticulously aligned wood grain across the cabinetry. The suite includes a walk-in closet, ample storage, and a safe, catering to all needs of the owner. A dedicated desk or dressing area provides a personal space for work or preparation. The ensuite bathroom is the largest on the yacht, featuring twin basins, additional storage, and a separate shower area with a frosted door for privacy.

The VIP guest cabin is located at the bow and offers a spacious and inviting environment with high headroom and opening portholes for natural light and ventilation. The cabin has an ensuite bathroom with a separate shower. Additional guest cabins are equipped with essentials such as hanging lockers, AV equipment, and ample headroom. One of the guest cabins features bunk beds, suitable for children or adults, sharing access to a bathroom that serves as an ensuite at night.

The crew area includes two berths, laundry facilities, refrigeration, and a compact galley with a microwave, sink, and space for meal preparation. The crew cabin is equipped with storage and AV equipment. A separate bathroom with a shower is accessible from this area, doubling as a day heads for guests enjoying the beach club level.

Yacht JOURNEY features luxurious accommodations for eight guests, a semi-enclosed flybridge adaptable to weather, and a hydraulic platform for tender storage or as a swim platform, enhancing the onboard experience.

Amenities

Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Crowning the yacht is a spacious sundeck with an inviting spread of sunpads.
