Horizon Yachts has delivered its first E81 yacht to its American Owner.
The new Owner had a strong influence on the 25.32m (85ft) motor yacht, with the yard revealing they “spearheaded the design to meet the needs of their multi-generational family.”
The E81 is the latest addition to what is possibly Horizon’s most popular range, the flybridge-focused E-Series. It combines the sleek E-Series superstructure with a beamy hull, to create a high-volume design.
The Owner’s influence can be felt throughout, with a four-stateroom layout, a full-beam master suite and an area to accommodate the Owner’s appreciation for art.
An expansive open bridge, protected by a hard top and a fixed glass windscreen forward, is one of the distinguishing features of the E81, with the Owner’s influence further felt in their choice of granite countertops for the flybridge and aft deck.
The interior is outfitted in light oak with dark wenge accents and tha main salon is fitted with a large L-shaped sofa facing a pop-up television. Her deck spaces include a main deck with fully equipped wet bar and a drop-down television, and a foredeck with seating and dining spaces and a large sunpad.
The Owner plans to cruise the northeastern seaboard this summer and then spend the winter months exploring Florida and the Bahamas. A second hull of the E81 is also under construction and scheduled to be delivered in the Fall.
