Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.47m beam and a 2.13m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 191 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

Ocean Pearl's hull is crafted from composite materials, chosen for their durability and lightweight properties, which contribute to the vessel's impressive capability for long-range cruising. With a range of 4,000 nautical miles, Ocean Pearl is well-suited for extended voyages, providing guests with the ability to explore remote destinations without frequent refueling stops.

The aft deck is notably spacious, with seating arranged along the port bulkhead. This design choice opens up a generous area for relaxation and socializing, without compromising access to the large swim platform. The arrangement facilitates movement from the swim platform directly up to the flybridge, which is a thoughtful consideration for those who enjoy water activities.

The flybridge itself is equipped with dual helm stations, positioned to both port and starboard for enhanced navigational flexibility. A casual dining area provides a space for guests to enjoy light meals while taking in panoramic views. Additional amenities on the flybridge include substantial freezer storage, a sizeable barbecue grill, and a hot tub, which can be particularly enjoyable in colder climates, surrounded by natural scenery.

To the aft of the flybridge, there is ample room for a tender and other watercraft, which can be easily launched using the on-board crane. An aft-facing helm station is also present, offering superior visibility for stern docking maneuvers—an essential feature for any captain.

Throughout Ocean Pearl, the choice of materials, the layout of social spaces, the practical lighting, and the arrangement of the helm and galley all serve to highlight the yacht's dual nature as a haven for guests and a serious cruiser ready for ambitious voyages.

Interior Design

Traditional craftsmanship is evident in the solid wood joinery that features throughout the vessel, providing a sense of continuity and stability.

Within the main salon, modern design trends have been eschewed in favor of a more timeless approach. A significant bulkhead replaces the sliding windows commonly found in contemporary yachts, allowing for the inclusion of plush armchairs and an expansive picture window. This design choice affords guests a panoramic view of the surrounding seascape, transforming the window into a dynamic visual element.

The salon is also home to a large bar area, equipped with ample storage for glassware and a full suite of amenities, including a sink and refrigerator. This setup ensures that refreshments are conveniently at hand. Adjacent to the bar is a substantial dining table, offering an indoor alternative for meals, a particularly valuable feature considering the yacht's history of voyaging through cooler climates.

Illumination within Ocean Pearl is thoughtfully considered, with lighting fixtures chosen to enhance the atmosphere without becoming focal points themselves. The result is an environment that is well-lit and comfortable for guests, facilitating both relaxation and social interaction.

The galley, positioned to port, is spacious and remains in pristine condition, reflecting the yacht's overarching standard of upkeep. The extensive size of the galley underscores the vessel's capability for extended cruising. It is outfitted with professional-grade appliances, including two large ovens, a refrigerator, and a freezer, as well as considerable storage space to accommodate provisions for long journeys.

Accommodation

Ocean Pearl hosts an admirable capacity for guest lodging, featuring a total of four cabins designed to accommodate up to eight guests, ensuring a private and exclusive experience on the water.

The owner’s cabin boasts substantial storage space, reflecting the yacht's history of extensive cruising. The cabin features a queen-sized bed, complemented by deep drawers and a well-sized closet, catering to the needs of guests for longer voyages. The master suite also includes an ensuite bathroom, providing a private and convenient space for the yacht owner.

Adjacent to the owner's suite, there are additional guest cabins. To starboard and forward, a cabin with four bunks is available, suitable for children or additional guests, complete with ample storage and an ensuite bathroom. A portside cabin presents a queen-sized bed with extra deep drawers for storage and a Pullman bunk, further enhancing the yacht's capacity for guests.

Moving aft, another cabin with a queen-sized bed can be found, mirroring the thoughtful storage solutions and closet space seen throughout the guest accommodations, as well as featuring its own private ensuite head.

In terms of crew quarters, Ocean Pearl is equally well-appointed for up to six members. The crew area includes a spacious and well-equipped crew mess, and two crew cabins situated forward, each providing two bunks and individual heads for the comfort and privacy of the crew members.
