Papillon is a 29.08m motor yacht for sale delivered by Bering Yachts in 2022. Bering Yachts is responsible for the complete look and feel of the superyacht, having created the interior design, exterior styling and naval architecture.
Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 6.74m beam and a 1.82m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 183 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Launched in August 2022 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
The yacht, part of Bering’s B92 series, was extensively customized for bluewater cruising as per the owner’s specifications. It features a traditional round-bilge hull with an upswept stern. The foredeck is designed as a recessed guest area, equipped with a C-shaped sofa facing aft and another set of sofas facing forward. Stepped access leads to the upper deck side decks.
The yacht’s side profile is highlighted by a bold orange boot stripe and a black-trimmed strake, contrasting with the white hull. Large glazing panels enhance natural light in the interior spaces. The foredeck includes open fairleads and gunwales, adding to its design.
The main deck lacks a walk-around access, with glazing flush with the topsides. Exterior side decks are positioned just aft of amidships, where guardrails replace solid sides, allowing more light into the interior.
Atop the yacht, a smart black carbon radar canopy and mast are a feature from the open upper deck aft. Tender stowage is found right aft and with guest space enjoying shade from the canopy. The stern is closed with a short bathing platform and twin stairwards ascending to the main deck aft.
Interior Design
The interior embraces a nautical theme with classic navy and white tones. Mid-tone wood complements the crisp blue, pristine white, and timeless stripes, creating a cohesive and stylish atmosphere. In the salon, a neutral cream sofa is accented by cushions in various blue tones and textures, maintaining a relaxed yet refined look. Moving beyond the dining area, the bar features two ecru leather lounging chairs, each adorned with cream cushions and a touch of blue scatter pillows, offering a comfortable spot to enjoy a drink while taking in the expansive views through large windows.
The cabins continue the nautical theme, with the principal cabin introducing deep russet as a focal color for decorative throw pillows. This cabin also features warmer, highly lacquered wood, which reflects the natural light streaming through the large windows. Guest cabins maintain a more muted palette, with soft grey and butterscotch or mid-grey, cream, and toffee tones providing distinctive accents through bedding and throw pillows.
Accommodation
Papillon offers accommodation for up to ten guests and four crew.
The cabin layout is a spacious owner's suite with a private balcony and three guest suites with en-suite bathrooms.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Cummins (QSM-11) 610hp engines, motor yacht Papillon is capable of reaching a top speed of 13 knots, and comfortably cruises at 9 knots. With her 23,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,500 nautical miles at 9 knots.
