Bering Yachts reveals its latest 49m flagship superyacht, the B165

The B165 engine room will be capable of housing hybrid propulsion systems and battery banks.

Antalya-based yacht builder Bering Yachts has revealed the renderings of its latest flagship superyacht, the Bering B165.

Unveiled during the Dubai International Boat Show 2024, the impressive vessel, designed by Valentin Design, combines the ruggedness, stability, and range of an explorer yacht with the comfort and luxury of a superyacht.

The Bering B165 features an open-plan main salon that is connected to the dining area, offering guests a lavish dining experience around a spacious table.

Accommodating up to 12 guests across six staterooms, the yacht features a master suite on the owner’s deck spanning 32 square meters, complete with a large bathroom. An impressive 34-square-meter sky lounge also boasts a bar, table, and ample seating. Additionally, a large alfresco dining table aft and a bow lounge with a Jacuzzi enhance the outdoor experience.

Further amenities include a movie theater or an extra guest stateroom on the main deck, while lower decks house guest staterooms and crew cabins for up to eight members. An extra stateroom accommodates two additional personnel.

The Bering 165 is made to be eco-friendly, [and] we are building responsibly. [While] designing [the] large engine room, we had alternative energy solutions in mind. There is plenty of space to accommodate hybrid applications and install a big battery bank.”

The main deck features an elongated aft deck with a spacious swimming pool, surrounded by sunbeds. This area can be expanded with unfolding bulwarks and doubles as storage for toys and equipment. Two tenders can also be accommodated on the aft deck for further exploration. Powered by twin 1,300hp Caterpillar C32 engines, the Bering B165 achieves a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.

As the new flagship of the Turkey-based shipyard, it follows the current 44.2m (145ft) flagship B145, with the delivery of the first hull, HEEUS, in 2022.
