Bering Yachts has introduced the latest yacht in its explorer yacht line, the 21.88m (72ft) Bering 72, created following feedback on its predecessor.
The yacht is an evolution of its Bering 65 model, of which three units have been delivered. The US-based yard used feedback from Owners and Captains of the Bering 65 to develop the new model.
The new Bering 72 is based on the same technical platform, and retains the same distinctive trawler lines of her predecessor, but this looks a far larger yacht with increases in size, comfort and storage space. She retains an impressive range of 5,000nm at a cruising speed of 7 knots
Based across three deck levels, the B72 has many of the characteristics you would expect to see on a luxury yacht. She sports a large swimming platform, spacious main salon, alfresco dining areas, a voluminous foredeck sunlounging area and panoramic views through large windows.
Her standard layout features a four-cabin layout, including a full-beam master suite forward. But she is fully customizable, and can be reconfigured to a five or even six cabin layout with or without a crew cabin.
Bering Yachts specializes in semi-custom steel expedition yachts and luxury steel trawler yachts. It launched its inaugural Bering 70 yacht in 2015 and followed this up with the 24m (79ft) Bering 80, ‘Beyond Capricorn’ the following year. It is set to deliver a further eight yacht by the end of 2023, including two hulls of its flagship B145 explorer yacht.
