340 GT | 2026 |
The 40m motor yacht Project Evo is being constructed by Dutch shipyard Van der Valk and is due to be delivered in 2026. She features exterior design by Fancy by Dada and interior styling by Cristiano Gatto Design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a fast displacement aluminium hull and superstructure. The yacht has an internal volume of 340 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Construction commenced in spring 2024 for the completely custom 39.9m yacht, marking the shipyard's largest project to date. Commissioned by experienced high-performance yacht owners seeking a family-friendly vessel, the distinguished design team includes Diana Yacht Design, Ginton Naval Architects, Franco Gianni of SFG Yacht Design, and Doga Naz Cebeci from Fancy by Dada. Cristiano Gatto Design played a pivotal role in shaping the interior design inspiration for the yacht, which in turn influenced certain elements of the exterior design.
Crafted from all aluminum with a round bilged fast displacement hull, the yacht boasts a top speed of 24 knots and is built to ABS class, fully compliant with the latest IMO Tier III emissions regulations.
Featuring a high, slightly raked bow with a gunwale opening, the yacht's main deck level showcases a striking expanse of black glazing against the dark silver-grey hull and topsides. Curvilinear features are accentuated at night with inset lighting casting a captivating glow in addition to azure blue waterline lights.
The yacht's dynamic design flows gracefully forward, with quarter-deck angles forming an arch where the main deck aft rises to meet the sun deck and radar canopy. The expansive teak bathing platform wraps around the side of the yacht, providing a stepping platform.
Access to the bathing platform is facilitated by twin staircases leading down from the main deck aft, with a large central transom door revealing guest amenities. Cleverly concealed storage doors on the side decks offer access to tender and watercraft storage, revealed through shell doors on either side of the yacht aft.
The main deck aft features curved sun pads facing aft and a curved banquette facing forward, while the foredeck boasts an elevated square jacuzzi pool with U-shaped seating and convenient tables.
The yacht's striking aesthetic is further enhanced by its use of black and dark glazing against the silver hull and topsides. A bold black canopy provides shade over the sun deck, with the radar mast raked backward to complete the sleek profile.
Accommodation
Accommodation on the yacht caters to up to ten guests, featuring a main deck master cabin, two twin guest cabins, and two VIP cabins on the lower deck. Additionally, three ensuite double crew cabins are situated in the forepeak next to the mess, while the captain's cabin is located on the bridge deck.
Performance & Capabilities
