Blue Jeans spotted in London during maiden voyage

Striking blue-hulled Blue Jeans has been spotted during her maiden voyage, cruising through central London.

Announcing the construction of Blue Jeans in February 2021, Van Der Valk remained true to the envisaged delivery date and she is now enjoying a European maiden voyage.

Following the handover to her new owners at the Dutch shipyard, Blue Jeans has had a vibrant maiden voyage with her cruising through Belgium, France and the UK to London.

Created in conjunction with the specific needs of the Asian owners, Blue Jeans boasts tall ceilings up to 2.5m (8.2ft) and also has a raised pilothouse, giving an iconic shape to the already captivating exteriors.

Standing out in every marina, the engaging blue paint on the hull was developed by Alexseal, with collaborative designer Guido de Groot making use of lighting and surfaces to minimize any remaining traces of white.

In addition to her unusual, but attractive, hull colour, Blue Jeans also has her own custom tender made of aluminium, which sits sideways in a tender garage.

For guests wanting to enjoy more of the sea, the superyacht has balconies both to port and starboard along with a retractable diving board.

Interiors for 34m (111.54ft) Blue Jeans have an appealing fusion feel to them, combining inspiration from both Northern European and Asian styles.

Featuring an abundance of liquid metal walls and highlights of copper, rare stones and marble including Lapis Lazuli Blue and Nero Marquina are found throughout, offering the ultimate indulgence in sophisticated interior design.
