Feadship’s 80m Superyacht Thalassa (aka 826) Prepares for Outfitting Phase Ahead of 2026 Delivery

The 80m superyacht Thalassa, also known as Feadship 826, has entered the next stage of construction as she has emerged from the shed and is now preparing for outfitting in Amsterdam.

With delivery scheduled for 2026, this milestone marks a key step for one of the most distinctive projects by Feadship to date.

Exterior lines come from the drawing board of Malcolm McKeon, whose sharp, modern design language gives Thalassa a powerful presence on the water. A continuous sweep of windows dominates her profile, promising excellent sea views and flooding the interior with natural light. The naval architecture of the yacht has been completed by Feadship’s own De Voogt Naval Architects, while Milan-based studio m2atelier is handling the interiors.

Although much of the interior remains under wraps, renderings released by Feadship hint at a contemporary, low-profile aesthetic. Interiors are expected to reflect a minimalist and masculine style, carried through with clean lines and a neutral palette.

One of the most talked-about features is the 165-square-metre beach club - reportedly the largest of its kind Feadship has ever built. With floor-to-ceiling openings on three sides, it offers panoramic views and seamless access to the water. This space is designed to function as a social hub at sea, with uninterrupted sightlines, abundant natural light, and ample lounging space.

Other exterior highlights onboard the motor yacht include a sundeck dip pool, a larger pool on the main deck, and expansive areas for sunbathing and outdoor dining across the yacht’s four decks. Transparent bulwarks along the main deck further enhance the visual connection to the surrounding seascape.

With a gross tonnage of over 1,900, Thalassa is built for both presence and performance. She will accommodate up to 12 guests in six staterooms and provide crew quarters for 15.

Twin MTU engines will deliver a top speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 14 knots, and a transoceanic range of 5,500 nautical miles at 12 knots. A beam of 13.1 metres and draught of 3.6 metres complete her key specifications, supported by a fuel capacity of 194,000 litres.

Another Landmark for Feadship

Thalassa’s progress comes during a productive stretch for Feadship, following the recent launch of the 101m Moonrise and sea trials for the 80m Faith, both commissioned by long-time clients.
