Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 12.4m beam and a 3.45m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 1,571 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in late 2022 with the keel laid under the project name 'Sakura'. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

The exterior of the yacht Sakura features a raked bow, contributing to its streamlined appearance and enhancing its navigational efficiency. Constructed with a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure, the vessel combines durability with a lighter top structure, facilitating better stability and performance. The decks are finished in teak, adding a touch of natural elegance while ensuring durability and safety underfoot.

In terms of color scheme, Sakura sports a white hull and superstructure, contrasted by a black boot strap and a black finish below the waterline. The paint finish on the hull is executed with precision.

The yacht's design prioritizes outdoor living spaces, as evidenced by an uncluttered foredeck that houses a jacuzzi, offering a private relaxation spot. The main deck aft features an exterior pool, with steps leading down to the waterline, allowing easy access to the sea. Three cascading decks provide ample lounge spaces, catering to various outdoor activities. Additionally, the sundeck is equipped with a bar, dining area, and a glass-sided jacuzzi integrated into steps leading up to a sunpad area. This area is shaded by a hardtop, offering comfort and protection from the sun. A distinctive white dolphin fin radar mast adds a unique touch to the yacht's profile.

Interior Design

The interior of Sakura reflects a thoughtful integration of Scandinavian and Japanese design principles, embodying simplicity and functionality while prioritizing light and space. The design, executed by FM Architettura d'Interni, employs a restrained palette of materials and colors, focusing on the natural beauty and texture of the elements used.

This is exemplified in the foyer, where a floating staircase crafted from walnut makes a striking statement against a softly lit marble feature wall.  Light, earthy tones dominate the interior, with modern furnishings that underscore the yacht's commitment to the "Japandi" style.

A dedicated wellness area, accessible via a touch-button reveal, is a key feature

The owner's deck is another area where the design philosophy of Sakura is manifest. The master suite, with its wrap-around floor-to-ceiling windows, offers panoramic views, merging the interior with the marine environment. The use of light and space here is particularly effective, providing a sense of openness and connection to the outside world.
