Seventh Baglietto T52 Superyacht Moneikos Launched

Baglietto has marked their second launch of 2025 with the unveiling of the 52m superyacht Moneikos, set for delivery in June later this year.

As the seventh hull in the Baglietto T52 Series, Moneikos was launched at the La Spezia facility in the presence of owner representatives Manuele Thiella and Tommaso Chiabra of Royal Yacht International.

The T52 series continues to distinguish itself through the exterior work of Francesco Paszkowski, who also led the interior design alongside Margherita Casprini. Moneikos bears the hallmarks of the T52 line—streamlined, sporty lines with a distinctly modern profile—balanced by a displacement hull and refined detailing.

Designed just under the 500GT threshold, the yacht accommodates up to 12 guests in six cabins, with quarters for nine crew. Inside, the atmosphere is described as chic and contemporary, reflecting a subtle yet stylish aesthetic in keeping with Baglietto's design language.

A Focus on Outdoor Living

Key to Baglietto T52’s appeal is its strong connection to the sea. At her stern, a three-level open beach club creates a generous social space close to the water, while a large pool on the main deck can be cleverly concealed with an adjustable flooring system. This not only expands usable deck space onboard the superyacht but also caters to larger gatherings when the pool is not in use.

We always eagerly look forward to a new launch – and this year will be savouring this special moment an impressive seven times."

The 24-metre-long sundeck features a second pool and is geared towards al fresco dining and uninterrupted panoramic views. On the upper deck of the motor yacht, vast floor-to-ceiling windows open on three sides, forming an indoor-outdoor lounge that remains functional in varying weather conditions. Meanwhile, a retractable staircase at the bow offers a direct route between the sundeck and the bimini-covered upper foredeck lounge.

Power, Range and Hybrid Capability

Moneikos is fitted with twin Caterpillar C32 engines that enable a cruising speed of 11 knots and a top speed of 16 knots. She also incorporates a hybrid-ready system that includes a substantial battery bank—aimed at reducing emissions, vibration, fuel use and noise levels during operation.

While still traditionally powered, this integration points toward a more sustainable future for the T-Line series.

T52 Series: Notable Builds to Date

Several notable yachts have already emerged from Baglietto’s T52 series; Akula, launched in 2024 and unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show, features expansive outdoor spaces and a sleek interior by Margherita Casprini. Infinity, also delivered in 2024, balances classic and modern elements with a three-level beach club and adaptable deck layout.

Daybreak, originally launched as Dopamine, integrates a refined interior with wide alfresco areas, including a convertible main deck pool. Delivered in September 2024, she accommodates 11 guests and retains the signature Paszkowski exterior styling. She made her world debut at this year's Palm Beach International Boat Show. The 2023 delivery Ark of Fate earned recognition at the 2024 World Superyacht Awards, winning in the 45m+ displacement category under 499GT—demonstrating the series’ design pedigree and engineering excellence.

With Moneikos now afloat and nearing delivery, Baglietto’s vision for elegant, future-ready cruising appears firmly on course.
