Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 40'8" beam and a 11'4" draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 2,240 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in late 2009 with the keel laid under the project name 'Secret'. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in March 2013 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in May 2013.

Exterior Design

Designed by Australian creator Sam Sorgiovanni, Sea Pearl, initially named Secret, stands out with a white hull and superstructure, accentuated by a distinctive black line that energizes the overall profile. The vertical windows, surrounded by black, add a touch of sophistication. The deck's curvature and a subtle flare from the upper deck aft contribute to shaping the side profile. An intriguing element includes a series of four slim vertical windows just aft of amidships. The communication and navigation tower adopts a raked-back design for enhanced aerodynamics. The foredeck is purposeful, reserving most guest relaxation areas towards the yacht's aft.

One forward-facing area for guest relaxation is the elevated jacuzzi zone on the bridge deck, featuring a cocktail bar. Positioned beneath the tower, this teak-laid space offers guests forward views, accompanied by sun pads encircling the raised jacuzzi, ensuring clear vistas when relaxing in the tub. Curved staircases lead to the yacht's lower decks. There's exclusive lounge seating at the aft of the bridge deck on a private terrace, overseeing the upper deck's lounging area. This space features a raised and spacious jacuzzi pool, adaptable seating, and sun loungers.

The beach club takes shape when the transom door is lowered, forming an expansive bathing platform.

Interior Design

Yacht Secret marked the debut yacht project for Arizona-based designer Jim Harris. In 2006, an existing client, with whom Harris had collaborated on various ventures, invited him to craft the interiors of their new yacht.

Harris designed the interior spaces, blending aspects of Art Deco, French Art Nouveau, and contemporary design, resulting in a refined and sophisticated ambiance.

In the primary guest areas, a distinct deep crimson is strategically incorporated to accentuate key features, complemented by a selection of wood ranging from dark tones that emphasize specific furniture pieces to lighter shades that beautifully reflect the natural light. The addition of paneled walls adds depth and texture, enhancing the luxurious and inviting atmosphere aboard the yacht.

Incorporating striking 3-dimensional wall designs in the cabins introduces texture and interest, and a sleek black and white monochrome theme is interwoven into each cabin, where a bold color palette, drawing inspiration from the luxe style of the opulent 1980s, introduces a signature color to each cabin.

Sea Pearl offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin and 4 double cabins. Additionally, there are 1 staff cabin aboard which can accommodate up to 3 members of the owners staff and security team.
