Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement w/ bulbous bow composite hull and superstructure she features a 10.1m beam and a 3.05m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 781 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in mid 2004 with the keel laid under the project name 'Project 164'. Launched in June 2006 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2006.

Exterior Design

The yacht's layout is thoughtfully arranged to maximize the use of space and provide ample areas for entertainment and relaxation. The aft deck invites guests with a traditional setup that flows into the main salon and dining area.

The sun deck is a thoughtfully designed open space that can be easily adapted for various activities, from relaxed sunbathing to formal dining or casual movie nights under the stars. The presence of freestanding furniture ensures versatility for any occasion, while the geometric radar arch and hardtop provide both shade and a modern architectural element to the upper deck. A Jacuzzi is located in the aft section of the sun deck, enhancing the area with an infinity-style view.

Victoria del Mar's sundeck is free from tenders and water toys, thanks to the cleverly integrated garage with a floodable launch system. The forward part of the garage provides additional storage for an array of water sports equipment.

Victoria del Mar features a versatile sundeck, a Jacuzzi with an infinity-style view, and sophisticated interiors with custom zebrawood furnishings, accommodating 14 guests in luxury.

Interior Design

The overarching theme of the design is marked by the use of zebrawood and custom-designed furniture pieces, which include leather armchairs, tables, and a bar topped with fossil wood. In a notable departure from the original décor, wall-to-bulkhead carpets gave way to custom printed area rugs, complementing the newly laid wide maple planks on the main deck and the narrower mahogany and maple in the skylounge on the bridge deck. This choice of wood flooring is a highlight, meticulously handcrafted by artisans from Utah and Montana, echoing the craftsmanship seen in the owners' personal residences. Adjacent to the main deck staterooms is a well-equipped gymnasium, ensuring that fitness needs are catered to without compromise.

Throughout the yacht, the lighting scheme has been carefully considered to enhance the modern ambiance. Original lamps have been retained but reimagined within the fresh décor, contributing to the updated aesthetic. In the dining area, the ambient lighting accentuates the space, allowing guests to enjoy their meals in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The helm maintains its professional functionality while integrating the updated design elements. It continues to provide the necessary equipment and controls for piloting the yacht, yet does so within the context of the yacht's overall refreshed interior style.

Accommodation

Accommodations aboard Victoria del Mar provide a soothing and sophisticated environment for up to 14 guests. The yacht features seven well-appointed suites, including an owner's cabin, two VIP cabins, two double cabins, and two twin cabins. Each space is designed with guest comfort in mind, dressed with hotel-grade linens and plush pillows for a superior sleep experience.

The owner's suite, situated on the bridge deck, adjoins the private aft deck, offering an exclusive area for the yacht's owner.

On the main deck, the two VIP cabins command attention with their full-beam layout and impressive ceiling height, creating an airy and inviting atmosphere. These cabins are bathed in natural light, thanks to the well-placed skylights, contributing to a sense of openness and tranquility.

Below deck, guests will find four additional staterooms, which maintain the same level of comfort found throughout Victoria del Mar.

For the crew, Victoria del Mar is equipped to accommodate up to 11 members.

Performance & Capabilities

Victoria del Mar houses twin diesel Caterpillar (3512B) engines. Each 12-cylinder engine is capable of generating 1,650 horsepower, equipping Victoria del Mar with formidable power. These can achieve a top speed of 14 knots, while her optimal cruising speed is set at a comfortable 12 knots. Furthermore, with her substantial fuel capacity of 80,478 liters, Victoria del Mar is capable of voyaging for up to 5,000 nautical miles at a steady pace of 11 knots.

To enhance the comfort of those on board, Victoria del Mar has been outfitted with advanced stabilizers. These serve to minimize the rolling motion of the yacht, ensuring greater stability and comfort especially when anchored in turbulent waters.

Amenities

The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. An elevator makes the yacht fully-accessible, while air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Victoria del Mar also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
