Second Flexplorer 165 Yacht Sold by Cantiere delle Marche

The latest Flexplorer 165 showcases CdM's dedication to innovation, featuring unique modifications like a standard pickleball court that required extensive structural adjustments to the original model.

Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) has announced the sale of a second Flexplorer 165 yacht to a US client, marking another commercial success for the shipyard.

The latest Flexplorer 165 sports an explorer yacht exterior design and naval architecture by HydroTec, along with an interior by Design Unlimited, and features several unique modifications requested by the owner: the most notable being a standard-sized pickleball court.

The revised design extends the upper deck overhang and includes a carbon fiber pole and net system to keep balls from falling overboard. Spectators can choose from two viewing areas: one beside the court on the upper deck and another from the sun deck. The upper deck is also equipped for touch-and-go operations with an EC130 helicopter.

The extended upper deck on the new motor yacht provides shade on the main deck, where a 7m (23ft) tender and jet skis are housed and deployed using an overhead crane. When not in use, this area transforms into an outdoor lounge with a bar, heated pool, free-standing furniture, and collapsible bulwarks. A second 5m (16ft) yacht tender is stored on the upper deck, while the sun deck can accommodate two more jet skis.

It’s been a privilege to work with the owner on this project. From our first conversation, it was clear that the Flexplorer 165 was the perfect match for him. We have successfully integrated all his favorite sports activities and his lifestyle into the yacht without any compromises.”

To support the owner's active lifestyle, the yacht also includes two dedicated storage areas for recreational equipment: one in the lazarette below the main deck and another near the crew area on the lower deck, accessible via a hull door. This setup allows for easy loading of supplies, which are stored in a dedicated galley area and a walk-in freezer.

Accessibility is a key feature of the Flexplorer 165, with an elevator connecting the lower, main, and upper decks. The yacht's wellness amenities include a gym and massage area on the upper deck, as well as a thermal therapy area on the sun deck, featuring a sauna and an ice tub pool that operates between 8°C and 12°C.

Powered by two Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines, the Flexplorer 165 can reach a maximum speed of 15 knots and offers a range of 4,800nm at 10 knots. Its layout comprises four guest cabins on the lower deck, an owner’s cabin on the main deck, and accommodations for the crew in five cabins plus a captain’s cabin.
