Dynamiq Yachts unveils designs for 50m GTT 160

Monaco-based shipyard Dynamiq Yachts has revealed the design of its new 50m GTT 160 superyacht, which has a 24-month build time.

The Dynamiq Yachts GTT 160 is equipped with MAN six-cylinder engines and is expected to reach a base top speed of 17 knots.

The superyacht boasts exteriors penned by Dobroserdov Design and concept features from long term collaborators Van Oossanen Naval Architects.

The fast-displacement hull incorporates HullVane foil aft, which has the ability to decrease drag and improve overall fuel efficiency.

In addition to the production prototype, an S version is available, powered by enhanced MAN V12-1800 engines, compared to the standard model, to reach an advertised 23 knots.

A hybrid option has also been placed on the table, promising a zero-emission electric mode enabling silent cruising up to a speed of eight knots.

In terms of naval architecture, we selected a slender hull with a long waterline that is much more efficient and comfortable than a short, wide one. So rather than maximising the interior volume, we analysed everything an owner wants or needs in terms of general arrangement and features. We then arrived at a concept that provides the motion comfort of a 55-metre yacht with a conventional flared bow.

Functional indulgence appears to be a main focus of the concept, with a range of promised facilities designed to create an enjoyable onboard experience.

The GTT 160 superyacht makes exploring new destinations possible with a fully certified touch-and-go helipad on the foredeck, and a forward tender garage able to host a 21ft tender.

The main deck aft serves as a beach club with easy access to the sea via the swim platform, plus a hot tub and seating.

Adjacent to the beach club, an enclosed spa and wellness area includes a hammam room and a 40-square-metre convertible gym.

Up to 12 guests can be accommodated overnight in six cabins, including a main deck full-beam master cabin with two large balconies to port and starboard. The five guest cabins are situated on the lower deck.
