Hythe in Hampshire have new occupants as Fairline Yachts settle in ready to create some larger models.

Due to open in Summer 2018, plans have been made to build yachts measuring over 18.29 metres.

The current location in Northamptonshire restricts building possibilities, but with 20,000 square metres in the new Hampshire facility the possibilities can accommodate the needs of the market.

Fairline Marine Park will initially create around 200 jobs and further enhance the company which had financial trouble in 2015.

In addition to the proposed larger vessels to be created at the new site, the current location in the town of Oundle will continue to produce smaller vessels under 18 metres.
