The Ferretti Group ended 2020 on a high, picking up a number of awards across the Asian sector of the yachting market.
The Group took home four trophies at the Oceanway China Yacht Annual Awards held in Zhuhai, China on 11 December. These awards recognize the most innovative yachts for sale in the industry, taking account of style, construction, comfort and more.
The Ferretti Yachts 500 won the Best Exterior Design (50ft-80ft) category, drawing praise for its sleek, aerodynamic lines, while the Riva 50 Metri was victorious in the Best Yacht of the Year (40m to 70m) category, being lauded as a masterpiece of marine engineering in steel and aluminum.
Also successful was Riva Dolceriva, judged as Best Yacht of the Year (30ft to 50ft), whilst the 79m (259ft) full-custom CRN superyacht MIMTEE, took home the Best Exterior Design (over 70m) trophy, for the softly sleek and well-defined lines of her hull.
The Group’s success continued a fortnight later when its Riva ‘88 Folgore was also judged to be the Best of the Best in the Yacht of the Year 2020 (below 100ft) category by Robb Report China on 25 December.
Finally it has already seen its first success of 2021, being named Best Luxury Yacht Brand, for the eighth year in a row, at the Hurun Best of the Best Awards, held in Shanghai on 28 January.
Aside from its own eponymous brand, the Ferretti Group also owns the Pershing, Itama, Riva, Mochi Craft, CRN, Custom Line and Wally marques, comprising a huge range of new and used yachts for sale. It is a truly global brand, operating six production shipyards in Italy and having a network of dealers in over 80 countries around the world.
