The Ferretti Group has launched its first all-aluminum Custom Line superyacht, the 50m (164ft) Custom Line 50 called ASANTE. The launch marks a significant step for the brand, introducing a made-to-measure flagship within the sub-500 GT segment.
Crafted entirely from aluminum, the Custom Line 50 is a collaboration between the Product Strategy Department led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Superyachts Division Engineering team.
The yacht measures 49.94 meters in length with a 9.60-meter beam. Filippo Salvetti designed the exterior, while Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel of ACPV Architects handled the interiors, blending contemporary aesthetics with traditional marine elements.
The yacht features a four-deck layout with the master suite located on the upper deck. This suite provides panoramic views, direct access to a private terrace, and a spacious lounge area with a sun pad. Additional accommodations include four VIP cabins on the lower deck, hosting up to 12 guests and nine crew members, including the captain.
The design of ASANTE emphasizes liveability and comfort. Extensive planning of the yacht’s volumes and interiors has resulted in generous social spaces and a focus on the owner’s privacy. The interconnection between interior and exterior spaces is particularly evident in the lounges on the main and upper decks, which feature large windows and reflective surfaces to enhance the sense of being at sea. The yacht also includes a beach club at the water’s edge, directly connected to the aft outdoor lounge on the main deck, cleverly integrated with a rectangular pool in the stern.
