The Ferretti Group has revealed that the traditional boat show month of September has propelled them to a record-breaking month of sales.
The Group announced orders exceeding €220million ($231million) in the month of September, to leave their order intake for the first three-quarters of the year standing at €900million ($1.15billion). The Group has confirmed there has been particularly strong growth in steel and aluminum superyachts built at its Ancona shipyard.
“2021 for Ferretti Group is like one of those wonderful films that make you dream from beginning to end,” commented Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi. “It got off to a great start and is continuing to deliver spectacular results, with great plot twists like this outstanding performance put in by steel and aluminium superyachts. But the excitement isn’t over yet, with a few more months of nice surprises ahead and what is bound to be a grand finale.”
Aside from its own eponymous brand, the Ferretti Group also owns the Pershing, Itama, Riva, Mochi Craft, CRN, Custom Line and Wally marques, with over 160 boats delivered between them so far this year.

Deliveries have included the first hull of its flagship Ferretti Yachts 1000, Riva’s 50m (164ft) motor yacht FIFTY and the ninth and tenth hulls of the popular Custom Line Navetta 37 series.
This news comes hot on the heels of Azimut revealing it had never had “anything like the year it had just experienced” with a production value of €850million ($980million) for 2021, as the marine industry continues to flourish.
