The GranSport 33 is considered the entry level model of the GranSport range - a series of fast semi-displacement superyachts with a notably long range and an economical displacement speed.
The 33m (108') superyacht was first presented at the Miami Yacht Show in February 2019, and the first hull was bought by an American owner two months later. It is expected to be delivered later this year.
With interior design from Alberto Mancini and naval architecture from the builder’s technical department, she has a typically modern Italian design and appearance and a good mix of space above and below decks.
The GranSport 33 has a volume of 228GRT, which is higher than some slightly larger megayachts. The result is a number of leisure areas for socialising with friends and family, including a stunning 56-square-meter (184') enclosed flybridge with a Jacuzzi and bar conveniently located near the sunning area.
Another bar on the aft deck is ideally located for refreshing arriving guests and forward on the flybridge is a pool with hydromassage jets for even more relaxation.
On the main deck is a large cockpit and dining table and an interior salon, that can easily transform from an indoor space to an outdoor space thanks to two full-height windows that open up. Up one deck further, the owner opted for an enclosed skylounge, with an indoor TV room, rather than an open flybridge.

The Mangusta GranSport 33 can accommodate up to 12 guests and has a 40-square-metre (131') master cabin at the bow of the main deck. An additional four staterooms can be found on the lower deck, and a crew of five can also be housed across three cabins.
When it comes to speed, she can reach 26 knots thanks to propulsion from four Volvo Penta IPS engines - she is the first of any Mangusta yachts for sale to feature this system, which can reduce fuel consumption by a third. She also is fitted with a joystick docking system, which reduces vibration and makes for a more comfortable rise.
The superyacht has a draft of 1.9m (6.2'), ideal for cruising in shallower waters, and has 28 square meter (92') garage, which can house a 5.65m (18.5') tender and two water skis.
Mangusta Yachts are part of the Overmarine brand and it looks set to be a busy few months for Italian shipyard. The second units of the other two models in its GranSport line are set to be delivered this summer - the 45m (148') Mangusta GranSport 45 and the flagship Mangusta GranSport54. The first hull of their Mangusta Oceano 50 - a long-range, full-displacement superyacht, is also set to be delivered.
