For five full days starting on October 25, 2023, more than 100,000 visitors are expected to descend on downtown Fort Lauderdale for the 64th Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS).
The event, which was first held in July 1959 and featured only 13 exhibitors, now plays host to 1,000 exhibitors from 52 countries showcasing their latest yachts. More than 1,300 boats and yachts will be on show over three million square feet of exhibit space spread out across seven waterfront locations, with each connected by a network of water and ground transportation services.
Are superyachts your thing? Then make sure you head down to the FLIBS Superyacht Village at Pier Sixty-Six Hotel & Marina’s new “Pier South” property, where you’ll find an exclusive marina housing the show’s largest and most luxurious yachts. Here, visitors will be able to step onboard some exceptional vessels and meet some of the world’s best yacht builders to discuss future projects. A range of tenders and watertoys will also be on display.
If this is the show where you plan to spend some money, arrive fully informed with the help of our 'Boat Shows: A Buyer’s Guide', and research within the YachtBuyer Yachts for Sale section so you'll know a good deal when you see one.
In addition to the vast amount of vessels on show, exhibitors will also be displaying a range of maritime kit to help you equip your yacht or boat with some of the industry’s most advanced technology.
Alternatively, if you’re looking to gain some knowledge while at FLIBS, take a seat at one of the educational seminars, with well-known speakers discussing an array of topics from “Boating to the Bahamas: The Ease of Crossing” by Grant Johnson and Robert Brousseau, and “The Current Climate of Crew Mental Health in the Superyacht Sector” by Captain Kelly Gordon.
