US builder Hinckley beefs up buyer choice for Hunt Ocean 63

The highly customizable Hunt Ocean 63 adds a flybridge extension and extra galley arrangements to its list of customizations.

Hinckley Yachts has announced some interesting options for its 21.2m (69.6ft) Hunt Ocean 63 model, including a flybridge extension and new galley arrangements.

The 7.4 square meters (80 sq ft) extension opens up a range of opportunities and can provide additional cover for cockpit relaxing or extra space for a lounging, dining or a barbeque area. It can also be fitted with a dinghy davit to carry a dinghy up to 2.9m (9.5ft).

There are also three optional galley arrangements to choose from. The two newest options situate the galley adjacent to the port aft bulkhead with an aft-facing counter with counter seating or a forward-facing settee in the co-pilot position. In addition, there is the more traditional galley location on the lower deck.

The Hunt 63 also accommodates either three en-suite cabins and an office, or the office space can serve as a fourth cabin, laundry room or another cruise-support function.

Each Hunt 63 is purpose-built and features a deep-V hull with Volvo Penta IPS 1350 engines that give a top speed of 31 knots.

The Hunt Ocean 63 is made by Hunt Yachts, which became part of the US-based Hinckley Company in 2013. The Hinckley Company was founded in 1928 and began life servicing lobster boats in Maine.
