New flagship vessel releases teaser ahead of construction
After many requests from clients asking for more space, Johnson Yachts have delivered on their promise to produce a new trideck flagship vessel for their fleet. With just a teaser image released so far, much detail of the new megayacht remains shrouded in mystery as it reportedly enters the construction stages.
With the current largest vessel of the shipyard, the two deck Johnson 93, being replaced by this latest build, the Johnson 115, there is already great interest in what is to emerge from the shipyard.
Building on the design from the Johnson 93, the hull has once again been designed by Dixon Yacht Design, who are well acquainted with the demands and requirements of Johnson clients. Using their experience and knowledge of the clientelle, the design team understand the importance of space in the latest build and have created an almost vertical bow in accordance to this essential requirement.
Outdoor fun and guest pleasure has been perfectly catered for, with space for two tenders to be stored onboard; one in a dedicated garage and the second on the hydraulic swim platform. In addition to the tenders, alternative watersports equipment could also be stored and the innovative platform makes it easy for guests to access the toys and the water quickly and safely.
The remaining elements of the Johnson 115 offer multiple options for owners to tailor the vessel to their own specific requirements. The first example being the foredeck, which can be completely dedicated to sunning if required or used as an extension to the large seating area so larger groups of guests can come onboard for an evening of cocktails.
Further options are found on the lavishly designed interiors. Collaborated with Design Unlimited, who are known for their designwork on superyachts, a five or six stateroom layout is available on the 115, plus the skylounge can also undergo some transformations for absolute guest comfort.
More information and details of the brand new Johnson flagship are anticipated to be released on the run up to the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
