Numarine delivers triple 26XP yacht launches on same day

Turkish shipyard Numarine started the 2020 summer season on a high by launching three 26XP expedition yacht units all on the same day.

With a grand total of eight Numarine 26XP yachts on the water, plus a further three still in construction, the futuristic-looking 26XP draws aesthetic inspiration from the larger Numarine 32XP.

Offering a range of up to 3,000 nautical miles while cruising at eight knots, Numarine had an impressive day with two displacement hulls and the first 26XP planing hull, powered by 1200hp MAN engines, being launched.

With onboard systems from their long term partner Silent Line, Numarine have focused on absolute comfort by minimising any source of noise and vibration.

Such noise reductions are shown in examples given by the shipyard, stating that noise within the owner's cabin at cruising speed is just 55.1dB.

I’m happy that we have built three more amazing 26XP explorer yachts and I’m sure they will bring a lot of joy of autonomous long-range cruising to the owners.

Design collaborations for the Numarine 26XP have come together with two long term partners, with Umberto Tagliavini penning the naval architecture and Can Yalman for both interiors and exteriors.

Inspiration from the larger 32XP can be seen in the design through the angular windows and vertical bow.

Other highlights worth noting for the 26XP include the 55sqm flybridge complete with adequate space to store a tender up to 3.5 metres. The flybridge includes a secondary helm station, a forward dining area plus an aft sun lounge.

Interiors throughout the main social areas are abundantly lit with natural light thanks to the expanse of windows around the superstructure. A lounge and interior dining area dominate the main salon, with a galley aft serving both interior and exterior social areas.

Overnight accommodation onboard the 26XP comprises of a four-cabin layout, with two VIPs and a twin on the lower deck.

The owner's cabin is amidships and hosts a king size bed. Also incorporated in to the spacious cabin is a private study, lounge area, abundant storage and a roomy bathroom facility.

Available as a displacement or semi planing hull, the next three 26XP hulls are currently scheduled for launches in late July 2020 and early autumn.
