Turquoise Yachts reveals 84m superyacht Project Atlas

Created in collaboration with Harrison Eidsgaard, the design aims to cater for different generations and lifestyles onboard at the same time.

Turkish shipyard Turquoise Yachts has unveiled its latest project, the 84m (275.5ft) “separate-yet-together” Project Atlas.

Designed by Harrison Eidsgaard, the brief was centered around the ideas of privacy and residency, and providing “separate-yet together” deck spaces that different groups and generations can enjoy together, despite different lifestyle preferences.

The result is a fluid design, with multiple tiered decks and separate lounges on every level, that is centered around two alfresco areas, the beach club and sun deck.

Her beach club can expand to 75 square-meters (807 sq. ft) when the hydraulic platforms on both sides are lowered. Fore of the 9m by 3m (29.5 ft by 9.8ft) pool, steps take guests into a lounge area with day beds and aft a project screen can transform the beach club into a cinema.

The expansive sun deck is split into a Jacuzzi zone forward and a bar and dining area aft, with access via an atrium staircase and lift within her interior.

Full height windows dominate her exterior profile and allow plenty of light into her 2,300GT interior. The interior is available in two configurations. The ‘penthouse version’ features an Owner’s suite with a private lounge and six additional guest cabins. In the ‘foredeck version’ the Owner’s suite does have a private lounge, but instead features six additional guest cabins and an extra ‘multipurpose’ cabin.

Power will come from quad 200 ekW C9 DITA Caterpillar engines for a top speed of 17 knots.
