Turquoise Yachts launches “classical elegance” of 74m superyacht ROE

The six-deck superyacht ROE is being built for a repeat client and is set for delivery in September.

Turquoise Yachts has launched the 74m (242.7ft) superyacht ROE at its Istanbul yard.

The Owner, a repeat client, attended a ‘lush ceremony’ to launch the custom-built superyacht which has an interior styled around “classical elegance” and a strong exterior profile marked by sleek and elegant lines.

The project is a collaboration with Rome-based designer Andrea Vallicelli, who is responsible for her exteriors and Ken Freivokh Design who has penned her interiors. The 1,558 Gross Tonne yacht is due to be delivered in September.

Speaking about the exterior Vallicelli said: "Visually, the decks decrease progressively towards the aft end creating a profile with strong diagonal lines that create harmony between the superstructure shapes and the hull."

Stepping inside, up to 14 guests can be accommodated across seven staterooms, which includes a 100 square meter Owner’s suite complete with a Jacuzzi, office and access to a private deck. Several of the staterooms can also be transformed into private saloons.

Her other highlights include a spiral staircase in the central lobby and large windows that let in plenty of light.

Interior designer Ken Freivokh confirmed the idea behind the interior, saying: “The design focus is on classical elegance. The idea is to achieve a layout that has complete integration between the decks and key internal spaces—with everything designed to maximise the continuity of the yacht’s lines as well as long sight lines.”

Superyacht ROE also features a full-beam aft beach club with enough space to store a 9.6m (31.5ft) limousine tender, a touch-and-go helipad, 7m (23ft) pool, steam room, massage room and gym facilities.

The launch comes just days after the Turkish yard announced 79m (259ft) superyacht project TORO, a first collaboration with Harrison Eidsgaard Design, and one of five more Turquoise yachts set to launch over the next 24 months.

The yard has made quite a name for itself over recent years as a superyacht builder of the highest order and features a varied fleet of yachts. To find out more, view all Turquoise yachts for sale.
